NB3 Consulting was founded in 2002 by Stanford Graduate and 4-time PGA TOUR winner Notah Begay III. Notah's mission was simple: Assemble a world-class golf course development team to work with American Indian Tribes on the development of new golf course projects and the renovation of existing golf properties.
Notah created a team that had worked on hundrds of projects worldwide and more importantly, believed in his mission to deliver projects on time and on budget that would serve Native American communities for generations to come.
NB3 Consulting has become an expert in the Design/Build delivery method which provides design and construction services under one contract with a single point of responsibility, and it has led to some tremendous results.
In 2007, Notah was named by Golf Magazine as one of the 'Golf Innovators' of the year. In 2009, NB3 Consulting built and opened Sequoyah National and it was immediately named the #2 new golf course in the country by Golf Magazine. In 2010, we built and opened Firekeeper Golf Course which has since been named the #1 place to play in Kansas. In 2013, we introduced Sewailo Golf Club, an economic enterprise of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe that will redefine golf in the southwest.
NB3 Consulting's Design/Build capabilities extend far beyond golf course projects into multi-purpose fields, recreational facilities, and parks.
At NB3 Consulting, we are proud of the impact that our projects have had in the communities where we have worked. We have created hundreds of jobs and we are committed to working with local TERO (Tribal Employment Rights Office) offices on both job creation and placement.
